1. Scenario
Urban tunnels need continuous CCTV, VMS, and environment sensing over long runs with short maintenance windows.
2. Challenges
Single-link failures have high impact; humidity/dust/vibration stress gear; multi-direction fiber is needed.
3. Architecture
Use 8GE+4/8SFP managed switches for bidirectional fiber rings; sparse endpoints can use 2FE1FX edge nodes into the ring.
